Need stable USB-driver, but worth the money!
I was very sceptical about ordering this after viewing a lot of negative reviews on social media.
Build quality is very solid, and the rotary wheel doesn't make constant clicking sound when turning, as I've seen some claim. Display viewing angle is about 45°, and you have to be about 50cm away to see it clearly.
Set-up didn't work by following Antelope's instructions. Tried to have a chat with technical support, but gave up reaching them after couple of hours. --Important: you have to download a separate USB-driver to get the interface to work!!!---
Coming from Audient ID14 MK1: Zen Go has very slightly more crystal clear detailed sound and tighter bass, and more of a 3D-sound..like surround. Not a night and day difference by any means. RTL was about 10ms on Audient at 96kHz, 128 samples, but on Zen Go I can have 96kHz, 16 samples, and about 4ms, just insane!
I've had the Antelope Launcher lose USB-connection few times, but you still can use the interface normally, except for the Control Panel. Some minor things too like when connecting to the inputs, I had to click inverse phase 2 times to get the sound correct etc.
Control Panel is somewhat confusing to use, if you're used to more basic interfaces. Love the bundle from Thomann to get all the afx-plugins with the interface! They require a bit of getting used to, and overall they're quite nice...nothing stellar, but usable, was expecting a bit higher quality tbh.
