These headphones are perfect for their price - they're very comfortable and the sound is clean. If your home studio needs monitor headphones, I recommend you Yamaha HPH-MT5!
I have to admit that I was thinking a bit sceptical about headphones for such a low (for me) price, but when I tried them, I understood that I have made the right choice! They cover my ears perfectly without giving me the headache that previous headphones have given me. I also like the tiny case they come with. The headphones are very compact and I can carry them whenever I want to.
Really good! Thanks!
I bought these headphones after reading a few articles on home recording equipment, and they seem to be a staple on many recording studios across the world and I can see why.
They are fantastic sounding, they don't exaggerate or colour the sound in any way and they won't break the bank.
They are very comfortable to wear both over the ears and on the head and they give a very accurate representation of the recording at all times.
Excellent recording headphones all around.
I bought these headphones for my newly setup home recording studio thinking I will be using them as a back-up pair to my Sennheiser HD 569's. Well it turned out the other way round, I now use these as my main recording headphones. There actually amazing sounding headphones that don't color the sound and give a clear and neutral representation of what I hear though my studio monitors. While tracking vocals I noticed especially how lovely the highs are heard, this is usually a weak point in cheaper headphone models. I even tried mixing with them (just a few tracks) and found it suprisingly easy. The only weak point I can find is that after wearing them for a longer period of time they start to get a bit uncomfortable, but that is a small trade off at this price point.
Sound is good, I can hear every detail. The cable is not the strongest thing. Other than that it's ok. After some use the head pad started breaking, but just a bit, so big problem.
