Just upgrade your cables
I recognise the need for a buffered signal in some situations with certain fuzzes etc.
However, I run 8 pedals (2 already with a buffered signal), and with great cables I've never experienced a loss of highs or anything like it. My tone is crisp and clear as if straight through to the amp. I did not need this buffer, and I bet you don't either, even though every YouTube-video tells you that you do.
Now, I don't know what kind of motherboard you're running, but my point is; a lot of your pedals might have buffers in them already (Boss Tuner or Polytune 3, for example). If you're still having issues, do yourself the favour of spending the "not as fun" money on great patch cables and jack cables, which in my opinion often is overlooked. I can recommend Evidence in this regard.
No, but seriously - upgrade your cables first. I cannot state this enough.
