Best acoustic for a reasonable price?!
I was looking for my own first acoustic, after playing my dad's Peavey Tupelo for many years. This was absolutely the right choice.
It came in a very, very, VERY nice travel case/bag hybrid. It's a really nice case, that can take a beating, without the guitar being affected.
The guitar itself, is not only good looking, but it sounds very just as pretty. It has a bright, but warm tone. Definitely a change from the peavey, that i had to get used to, but after I did, I wouldn't go back the the Peavey. Only for nostalgia.
I gave the sound 4 out of 5 stars, which might seem off, due to my previous praise. Don't fret! This is purely my opinion, as I really like the sound of more bass heavy acoustics, and this one is more dominant in the mid section (when looking at an EQ).
My acoustic playing friends all love this guitar, and frequently borrow it, so I can tend to my other instruments.
That saying, the feel of this guitar is the best I've experienced on an acoustic. It is one of my most priced possessions, and it sounds great for every single thing I've played. Anything from country, folk, mathrock in alternate tunings, as well as low tunings like drop B. This is a killer acoustic and I am sure, that whoever decides to one day buy this, won't regret it. Taylor has since my purchase, become my favorite brand, when it comes to acoustics. Very satisfied with my purchase! :)
