I have owned several Gibson Les Paul before this one, both standard and custom shop, and this one feels more like a Custom shop in the build quality and sound.
Overall I give this product 5 out of 5 as it is very well made and sounds fantastic.
The relic is well and tastefully made and very well weighted so it doesn't feel too bad for your back when you play.
On the plus side:
Very good sustain.
Good frets and no sharp edges.
pick up sounds good and not too hot, cleans up well without losing tone when I adjust the volume.
relatively thin neck and very well played after making your personal settings.
(I needed to adjust the pick up height, neck a little straighter and string height a little closer)
The only thing I can complain about is the machine heads which are not even when adjusting, but that could be because they are new and get better with time?
After you tune the guitar it stays in tune well.
