Another great HB guitar
This is my 3rd HB electric guitar, following my Fusion-T, & my SC-550 Gotoh.
It’s my first HB with a trem (& currently my only working guitar with a trem), my first with a maple fingerboard, & first with 24 frets.
It was a conscious decision to not go for a hard-tail, though I did have some reservations; mostly regarding tuning stability, & hardware quality.
I need not have worried; all is good.
Better than good.
The build quality is excellent; the finish immaculate. However, a word of note: the guitar is described as being blue, & it is. Less ‘grey’ than the photos suggest.
It’s not heavy. Certainly not as weighty as my Fusion-T, but perhaps not quite as light as my SC-550.
I’m a little confused by the micro-switch. The description states it acts as a coil split, but it actually alters the tone quality of all three pick-ups (which is no bad thing).
It’s lovely to play.
The neck is great.
I can see no defects anywhere.
Factor in those stainless steel frets, locking tuners, the roasted maple neck, & all-in-all, it’s a great guitar for the money.
Update: I contacted Thomann customer services regarding the micro-switch, & they kingly responded, including a handy diagram of how it works.
Truthfully, it does way more than just being a coil split, & does indeed impact all the pickups, creating new combinations when using in conjunction with the 5-way toggle. Bonus!

Une excellente Superstrat HSS, polyvalente et très bien finie
Très chouette guitare, avec de belles finitions, une électronique bien pensée et une vraie diversité de sons. Elle est légère, agréable en main et a tout de même une jolie prestance.
Le manche a un petit peu trop d’épaules à mon goût, mais il reste vraiment agréable et étonnamment versatile. Le radius composé est particulièrement réussi : on garde une bonne prise en main pour les accords ouverts en haut du manche, puis le jeu devient très fluide en allant vers les aigus, qui sont facilement accessibles. Le frettage est lui aussi très agréable.
La configuration HSS offre une palette de sons très large, avec de belles sonorités claires, brillantes et propres, tout en gardant suffisamment de corps, de précision et de définition pour les grosses distorsions.
La mienne est également arrivée très bien réglée, ce qui, pour une guitare ayant traversé quelques centaines de kilomètres dans un carton, me semble presque être un petit exploit ^^
Si vous cherchez une Superstrat HSS légère, fiable, polyvalente, agréable à jouer et avec une vraie présence, c’est vraiment une très belle proposition.
