A Solid Choice if you are looking for a versatile bass.
This is my first bass and I wanted a versatile instrument to track some bass for my songs. I was initially considering buying a J-Bass inspired model from another popular brand around the 500 euro mark, but when Fender announced the Jazz Bass Player Series II, I decided to go for it instead.
The combination of the black body and black pickguard with a maple fretboard reminded me of David Gilmour's Black Strat so I was immediately sold! Given my great experience with a Player Series Stratocaster, I chose the Jazz Bass even though it was nearly twice the price of the other bass I was considering.
I wanted to invest in an instrument that would not make me doubt my choice, and I'm glad I did. The bass arrived from Thomann in pristine condition and only required minimal setup, as it was pretty decent straight out of the factory.
Overall, I am very happy with the sound, feel and look of this instrument. The tone is rich and versatile, and the build quality is excellent. The rolled fretboard edges on are a nice feature as well.
If you're on the fence about investing in a Fender, I can confidently say this bass is worth it.

Ich bin sehr zufrieden!
Ich bin wirklich sehr zufrieden, Sound und Aussehen ist perfekt. Einfach ein toller Bass, vor allem für diese Preisklasse! Habe ihn jedoch, wie heutzutage üblich, direkt neu eingestellt und meine Lieblingssaiten draufgemacht. Das einzige Manko ist die Qualität der Knobs, wenn man diese aber nochmal mit einem kleinen Inbus nachzieht hat man damit keine Probleme mehr! Momentan einer meiner liebsten Bässe!
