Cool, but not my cup of tea
Bass distortion is a finicky subject.
Most of it comes down to personal taste, so take this with a grain of salt...
I was looking for a new bass distortion to add a bit of bite to the sound.
So far I had the Bass Soulfood from Electro Harmonix, which i never really liked.
So i got this ant the Blumes from Earthquaker Devices for a Testdrive.
In the end the Blumes was much closer to what I was looking for, so this one goes back to shop.
I played around with it for a good hour but was unable to find a setting where i didn't loose too much punch and bass. Even despite the builtin Blend control.
Just for reference: I always liked the bass tone of Tim Commerford the most, just to understand where I'm coming from

Riesig, klingt, aber...
Hat auf meinem Board nichts gebracht. Die Tiefbässe (40HZ) bringen nichts, weil der FoH die Frequenzen unterhalb 60hz abschwächt und hat sich über Rauschen (hohe Frequenzen) beschwert, wenn ich Treble auf > 12 Uhr Stelle und musste ein Noise Gate schalten.
Da ich einen parametrischen EQ auf dem Board habe, was insgesamt als nix für mich.
