Super versatile
I love this light source and how well it fits in different locations.
Two LED columns stopped working properly after a year, but it’s still good and usable. Despite this, I would buy it again.

Light, thin, low profile, good quality
EDIT: After one day of filming, cable on connection joint became loose and fell out - light was static and cable wasn't tuged on... Disappointing. Very lightweight and convenient for light stand booming, it has a small profile so it's easy for rigging and good for accent or overhead light.., few setup modes and preset mode makes it very easy, practical and fast for light change and setup... Downside is somewhat less of light output than expected.

Amaran F22c (EU) – Flexible RGBWW LED Panel for Creative Professionals
Overall Rating: 4.8/5
The Amaran F22c is a 2x2 ft flexible RGBWW LED mat designed for professionals who need portability, color accuracy, and versatility. With strong output, full color control, and a complete softbox kit included, it's ideal for film sets, interviews, and dynamic creative lighting setups.
Key Features:
Power Output: Up to 200W of light output (240W power draw)
Color Range: CCT from 2500K to 7500K, full HSI color control, green/magenta tint adjustment
Color Accuracy: CRI ≥ 95, TLCI ≥ 97, CQS ≥ 96 – very accurate color rendering
Dimming: 0–100%, flicker-free
Control Options: Onboard controls with OLED screen, Sidus Link app (Bluetooth), and DMX (via USB-C adapter)
Mounting: Comes with foldable X-frame and tilting baby pin mount
Soft Modifiers: Includes softbox, grid, and diffusion layers
Power Options: AC adapter included; supports V-Mount or Gold Mount batteries (via optional battery plates)
Weight: Light panel ~0.88 kg; full kit ~7.9 kg with control box, cables, case
Build Quality & Design:
The F22c is impressively thin and flexible. The mat itself is soft and can be curved or shaped, perfect for lighting in tight spaces or for creative wraps around subjects. The included frame makes it easy to mount on C-stands or tripods, and the build quality feels rugged for professional field use.
Performance:
Brightness is one of its standout features. At 5600K, the F22c can deliver over 6400 lux at 1 meter with the included softbox and diffusion removed. Even with the softbox, it performs well as a key or fill light.
Color modes are extensive. It supports standard CCT and HSI modes, plus gel presets, color picker via app, and effects like paparazzi, fire, lightning, etc. Color output is consistent across the range with no major shifts.
Ease of Use:
The Sidus Link app is smooth and allows full control of color, intensity, and effects. The onboard controls are intuitive with a clear OLED display, though some users prefer the app for fine adjustments. Setup is fast—frame pops into place, panel Velcros on, softbox attaches quickly.
The fan in the control box is audible but not loud; the panel itself is silent due to passive cooling.
Pros:
High brightness and excellent color quality
Extremely lightweight and flexible design
Full RGBWW control with Sidus Link app and DMX compatibility
Comes with all key accessories (frame, softbox, grid, bag)
Compact and portable for travel or tight studio setups
Cons:
Control box adds bulk and some fan noise
Requires optional accessories for battery power
Panel not waterproof – needs care outdoors
Not ideal for handheld use without extra rigging
Best For:
Narrative film production
Interviews and portrait photography
Mobile content creators
Studio and location shoots
Cinematographers needing soft, wraparound light
Price & Value (EU Market):
In Europe, the Amaran F22c typically sells for around €750–€850 including VAT. Given its output, included modifiers, and control options, it represents excellent value for both indie filmmakers and professionals needing a travel-ready light.
Final Verdict:
The Amaran F22c is a powerful, compact, and versatile lighting solution. It combines high output, accurate color, and creative flexibility in a kit that’s easy to transport and quick to set up. Whether you're working on set or shooting in the field, it's one of the best flexible LED panels in its class.

Light, low profile, good quality
Very practical light, versatile and usable in many situations. Good for booming, easy rigging and good for accent or overhead light. Light the Light Quality (RGB too) but somewhat less of light output than needed
