The low octave sound is excelent. And yes, mix of octaves is great for purposes of the sound cardinality. But beware. I would replace the mix knob simply with the dry volume knob. Because even if the mix button is fully down, the dry signal is still slightly present in the output signal, This is why you are not able to get just high or low octaves on their own. You have to tweak the "fifth" knob carefuly to avoid chemical sound. The LED shine could even burn your retina. The consumption is really high, you would need full 120mA power supply.
