Good, but not for brushes.
I like to share my experiences, so I write a review. These Skytone heads offer a vintage sound, and they are well made. Less attack, more bottom. But you can't use them for brushes. So I was a bit disappointed.

Thin, traditional tone.
These are very thin, like a diplomat - much lighter than Fiberskyns. They wear out and dent fairly easily, so they're best for light players who are after a traditional skin feel and tone, but more responsive than the alternatives. The coating hasn't worn or bubbled at all, just some slight dents. Mine was used on a 13" wooden snare. A high pitched, yet warm tone.

Beautiful warmth, but fragile
Makes a super warm and beautiful sound, and fits perfect in the jazz sound. Downside is that if you play different kinds of music, and play a little hard, it gets worn out pretty fast.
