Jaspers Monitor Holder 40B

This is a useful side addition which i am using to mount a desktop module onto the side of my stand and it works great.
Some other users have said it is difficult to get monitors in the right position on an A frame stand and the cost of a pair of these it might be worth looking at a separate pair of monitor stands.
Nevertheless a very useful extra support for laptops, modules, drum machines or even a small 1202 mixer.

Good quality product. Only problem is that it's not fully adjustable, and the clamp is only for rounded bars! If you want to add it to your angular stand, it can get tricky.

I have a few of these which I use for desktop synths and a small mixing desk.
My only issue is that they do tend to work loose from time to time, especially for the stand holding my desk, which is always dropping (rotating rather than falling, which fortunately doesn’t happen).
There is a lug to prevent this, but that doesn’t work that well.

Good sturdy construction but the monitor has been knocked off the holder and gone crashing to the ground on a couple of occasions because of the tilt angle. There should be a mechanism to grip the monitor.

Very nice quality support for mixers, small synths and iPads and the like.

Added this as a laptop support: worked perfectly. Just mount one holder upside-down, so that when the boom is attached to the slanted tube of an A-frame the supports become level and straight.
Jaspers really thought out any possible use!

Great extension to my main synth rack. It's easy to fit and adjust and locks well. Had a few different units on it, but now supporting my Jomox 999. Happy days.

As with all of the Jaspers gear, this monitor stand is robust and excellent quality. The only problem I found, was that if using an 'A' frame stand, this had to stay at the side. If rotated forward, it would raise the angle from horizontal. Not a big problem but I'd like to see one with a ball or hinged joint for better flexibility.

I bought three of these, two for my monitors and one to hold my MicroFreak. These are so handy! Might have to order another as a laptop holder...

I used with some heavy studio monitors and they never move. You also don't need to disassemble the A frame rack to install these, they are in two halves.
