A great improvement!
I bought this item due to the problems I had with the previous nut on my guitar.
It makes a world of difference. Tuning issues such as string pinching and overtones are no longer a problem. When bending strings the guitar stays in tune perfectly.
Robust and well made, the slots are wider enough for even the heavier string gauges and no harsh breaks allow for the strings to move easily through them. If you want to shorten the width or height it is not a problem since the material, while being robust, is quite easy to sand down.
Fitting is fast and easy. 20 minutes (for the glue to stick) and you're good and ready.

Amazing
I've struggled with staying in tune for years, particularly after any kind of serious string bending, usually on the G. This has solved the problém, to the amazing extent that after a week of perfecting the "Hotel California" solo, which is very bend-heavy, I have not needed to re-tune. I cannot recommend this product highly enough.

Very Useful
Bought to refurbish an elderly cheap acoustic that came missing its nut.....fitted very well with a little file work,sound great...I've used Graph Tech before and always happy with the results!

A Worthwhile Investment!
While it is a small investment, a Graph Tech nut can pay big dividends in your tone. Open strings will ring longer and truer and you will hear cleaner overtones in general!
Just be prepared to do a little filling / sanding after installation as these are made a little bit large so you can get a perfect fit in the end.

Good product
I bought this nut as a replacement for my ovation acoustic guitar copy. Adjusting the size was quite easy and it made the guitar sound much better than before and I have no problems with tuning or anything else.

Sound upgrade
Good nut, the material of the Graph Tech does improve the tone, its easy to sand the plastic to get an exact fit. You can also glue the nut into place if need be, epoxy resin works fine - that is what I do on my electric guitars to get an extra total tone.

Graph Tech PQ-6114-00 Nut
I brought a cheap relacement & didn't like the String spacing, & then went for one of these - Wow, it made such a difference, it sounded like a new (and more expensive)Guitar. Would definatley recommend.

First Nut Change
Wanted to change the Nut on a low priced guitar and ordered the Graph Tech. Fitted, with very little alteration and has made an audible difference. Good investment.
