Come to Montreux: your launchpad? 🎸🎷
The Montreux Jazz Festival is one of the world’s most prestigious music festivals. Stars like US rapper Kendrick Lamar, Pharrell Williams, Ed Sheeran, Alicia Keys, and Jacob Collier, alongside jazz legends like Ray Charles, have left unforgettable marks on this iconic stage since 1967.
Now spanning across genres
Over time, the festival has evolved to include a broad range of genres. Beyond jazz, it has long featured soul and funk, pop, hip-hop, afrobeats, classic rock and more for decades. It’s no surprise Montreux is seen as a launchpad for countless stars.

Montreux Jazz Festival: Share the stage with the greats!
The 59th edition will once again bring together absolute legends and today’s top acts, uniting generations. Highlights this year include Neil Young, Lionel Richie, Diana Ross, Carlos Santana, and Alanis Morissette.
Also confirmed are James Blake, J. Balvin, FKA Twigs, Avishai Cohen and many more. Now, imagine sharing the stage with these legends!
The dream can come true 🎵
For any musician, performing on the stage of this iconic festival would be an honor. A dream that could come true for you. Just like last year, we’re teaming up with our partners Shure and the Montreux Jazz Festival to award a one-hour performance in the breathtaking setting on Lake Geneva in Switzerland.
The 2025 Montreux Jazz Festival takes place from July 4 to July 19, 2025, with the winning performance of this contest scheduled for July 14, 2025, from 9:30 PM.

2024’s major success returns
In 2024, we launched this campaign as part of our 70th anniversary. Once again, we’re partnering with Shure, who are now celebrating their impressive 100-year anniversary. The band contest drew huge interest and was a massive success.
“Muscular” captivated the audience as the happy winners with an amazing live performance. ❤️ And in 2025, we’ll again be giving musicians the chance not only to create music, but to share their art on stage.

Damian says:
I see that things like endorsements, performances etc. are listed…
Does that mean the jury will prioritize the artists/bands that already have some kind of following? I’m considering releasing a song just to enter this contest but I’m afraid I’d be rushing my first release ever for nothing…
Larry says:
Hi Damian, we don’t prioritize artists or bands with endorsements or existing followings. The jury evaluates each submission based on its own merit – rest assured, everyone has a fair shot!
Vitali says:

ly released if it is uploaded to YouTube? Thanks for the answer
