The pro gathering 🎤
Every year, the MaMa Music & Convention brings together music professionals from France and around the world. For three days, the festival takes over iconic venues in the Pigalle district, right in the heart of the capital. MaMa is an unmissable event, packed with conferences, showcases, and concerts. The evening concerts are open to everyone, offering a unique opportunity to bring the general public and professionals together.

Like the Inouïs of Printemps de Bourges or the TransMusicales, MaMa plays a key role in emerging music in France. Many artists have performed at MaMa before becoming stars — from Angèle to Yoa, Clara Luciani, Eddy de Pretto, and Youssoupha.

The 2025 edition of MaMa will take place from October 15 to 17. For the first time, the festival is giving Thomann and Monte le Son full control for one night at Backstage By The Mill. On October 17, three up-and-coming artists/bands selected by our teams will take the stage — and you could open for them by entering our big competition. The winner will receive:
- A slot at MaMa Festival 2025
- All travel and hotel costs covered for the winning artist/band
- A fee of €3,000
- Exclusive content production around the performance, shared on Thomann’s and Monte le Son’s international social channels

How to apply 📝
Apply between August 25 and August 31, 2025 by completing the application form below in full. From all submissions, we’ll select the 10 best groups. Then, it’s up to the community to vote.
Everyone can vote for their favorite artist/band and help them get a slot at MaMa. The 3 top artists/bands from the community vote will then be evaluated by a jury made up of members from Thomann, Monte le Son, and MaMa.
The final winning group will be officially announced here on the t.blog and on social media on September 10, 2025.
