good quality but not available after-length adjust

New to cello 12.12.2019

good quality and nice finish.
but due to the fixed length of the steel sting, after-length cannot be controlled. (now ended up into my drawer)
the one who doesn't know or care about after-length, it is good one.

I replaced this on my cello, this makes a lot of difference to tune the instrument. Very good cost and benefit.

An sich ein guter Saitenhalter, ohne Frage. Allerdings ist er ungewöhnlich kurz, was bei Celli normaler Größe dazu führt, dass der Abstand zwischen Steg und Saitenhalter sehr lang ausfällt. Das hat merkliche Auswirkungen auf den Klang des Instruments und die Ausprägung der Wolfstöne. Korrigieren ließe sich dies durch die Verlängerung der Einhängesaite. Beim Weidler Akusticus besteht diese aber aus einem dünnen Stahldraht, der doppelt geknickt durch ein Messingröhrchen geführt und dahinter verzwirbelt ist. Sehr hochwertig mutet das nicht an. Sofern der Hersteller überhaupt genug Draht mitliefert (beim vorliegenden Exemplar war da kein Millimeter zu viel), lässt sich der Draht geradebiegen und neu fixieren, wobei aber Materialermüdung droht. Saitenhalter mit geschraubten Einhängesaiten sind da klar im Vorteil.
