Faithful replica of Waldorf's first generation microwave synthesiser
Based on the famous Waldorf ASIC chip
Internal operation with 250 kHz sampling rate to match the original ASIC sampling rate
Modelling of digital-to-analogue converters for each voice
Two wavetable oscillators
Unique digital noise generator based on ASIC technology
All original Microwave 1 wavetables, including algorithmic and voice wavetables
Wavetable editor for your own wavetables
Modelling of the analogue filters of revisions A and B
Calibration of cutoff and resonance of the individual voices for modelling detuned hardware
Wave, filter and volume envelopes as well as two versatile LFOs
Four user-defined tunings
Multi-mode with up to 8 instruments that can be layered and/or split
8-Voice polyphony like the original hardware
All factory single and multi presets plus 5 additional original sound sets and 2 new sound sets included
Can import original .mid and .syx files with preset dumps including user tables and wavetables

Superb Waldorf synth.

I have several Waldorf synths, and thought I would try this plugin to use with Logic.
I had delays in implementing - but only due to my limited knowledge of both Mac and Logic (used Ableton, alone before this year) it took me a while to get running. Excellent.

I really like the GUI and the wave samples sound great. There is a lot of tweakability in this vst and I have run multiple instances with very light CPU usage. If you like to create your own sounds, the possibilities are endless.

Beeindruckend nah am Original

Klingt wie meine Hardware-MW1, das hat mich sehr überrascht. Hätte nie gedacht, dass sich die analogen Filter so gut modellieren lassen.

Bisher ist ein Übertragen der Patches von der Hardware zum VST leider nicht vorgesehen (geht nur in die andere Richtung) und auch das Laden von Patches im das VST ist eher ein Glücksspiel. Ich kann also meine Patchsammlung leider nicht im VST ausprobieren, nur die Werkssounds vergleichen. Es kommen aber Updates, die das hoffentlich verbessern.
