Blofeld halt, keine Einwände, endlich als Software

Für alle, die wie ich kein Hardware-Plugin kaufen wollten, ist das eine schöne Gelegenheit an den Sound zu kommen. Der Sound vom Blofeld ist ja weithin bekannt, eher kühl und für sich genommen nicht ganz vielseitig. Klar erkennbarer, schön bissiger Waldorfsound. Bei einem Plugin ist eine Spezifik im Einsatz völlig okay. Wer nach einem vielseitigen Softsynth sucht, wird anderswo besser fündig, insbesondere was den Vergleich zwischen Ressourcen und Klangvielfalt angeht. Wer allerdings den Waldorfsound integrieren möchte (sehr lohnenswert), wird bestens bedient. Für Klangbastler lohnt sich vielleicht ein vergleichender Blick zum Largo 2, den ich etwas vielseitiger finde -- und der sogar noch ein bisschen härter ist, wenn man nun danach sucht.
