Very good for the price

After not being happy with older DSP26 model, I asked Thomann what they think about the newer one. It has been recommended to me. And I can say again, great support and great product. In the competition, it about KILLS it. Super nice handling and UI, all works as intended. It has been trumphed in sound by some other DSPs, but only for greater price. No reservations here. The side fan is quite loud, it?s shame that the device is not usable for home hi-fi setup.
But I can still recommend it for any budget installation.

This DSP is really amazing has all the features you require. It takes the place of whole rack of equipment, eq gates limiters and speaker delays.

The sound is really good and would really recommand
Live control via usb on computer makes it amazing

FABULOUS AND VERY EASY TO USE

Great unit with very clear signal path, All the tools you need for control and over usb control. After software was loaded on the supplied disk it connected flawlessly, I am going to sell on some of my big brand names to be replaced by these units. I will try the DSP 204 next

Fast null Rauschen dafür aber Turbolüfter

Sound: Das Gerät wurde wegen des deutlich besseren Rauschverhaltens als Upgrade für mein Home Studio angeschafft. Symmetrische Verkabelung, 96kHz Signalverarbeitung und der Geräuschspannungsabstand von >115dBu waren für mich die Kaufentscheidung *****
Verarbeitung Gehäuse & Technik: Stabil und Sicher alles top*****
Verarbeitung Lüftergeräusche: Dazu möchte ich anmerken den Lüfter hört man beim Betreten des Raums, der ist unglaublich laut. *(führt zu Abwertung) Das Gerät steht bei mir alleine ohne Case im Regal, daher konnte ich für meinen Heimgebrauch eine Lösung finden ;-), deshalb***
Bedienung: Am Gerät spring beim Kanalwechsel die Einstellung immer von der angewählten Funktion auf die Gain-Einstellung, das erschwert die Einstellungen. Der ausgeliehene PC Laptop aus dem Geschäft hilft bei den Einstellungen****
Features: Es fehlt der digital Eingang, für mich nicht relevant. Für mich eher relevant die fehlenden stufenweise Einstellung der Phasenlage, das konnten meine Analogweichen in den 1990ern****
Fazit: Verpasst dem Lüfter bitte eine Temperatursteuerung und alles ist bestens. Die relevanten Bauteile haben alle Kühlrippen und werden von dem Lüfter auch nur indirekt gekühlt.
