A relyable tool with an alarming name..

The SS-Snake Cable surprised me in every aspect despite its cheapish look. Although it looks a bit like something from China, you would stumble upon while rummaging around in a kids ?Happy Meal? packet. Well, never judge a book by its cover. The Snake is a beast, when it comes to technical reliabillity, it goes on and on and on without even showing any glimpse of giving up, even if you start twisting it. This would be fatal to a real reptile, but the SS ? Snake keeps injecting its with its poisonous midi informations into my jolly recording systems. Always a pleasure to have this fella round when recording my everyday inspirations.

Great for plug + forget applications

I use quite a few of these to run MIDI around semi-permanent looms in the studio, never had a problem with them. The colour makes them easily identifiable among all the other cable runs and the cable is not too prone to kinking so easy to manage. The moulded connectors are fine, although if I was pulling them in and out every night I'd probably go for something maintainable.

Brauchte ein 5-poliges vollbeschaltetes MIDI Kabel für meinen Laney Ironheart.
Hatte erst bei einem anderen großen Online Handel ein 5-poliges Marken-Kabel mit geschraubten Steckern bestellt. Das war definitiv hochwertiger...aber nicht voll beschaltet! (Merke: 5-polig sagt nicht viel aus!!!).
Jetzt kam Thomann ins Spiel.
Riesen Kompliment für die informative Produktbeschreibung!!!
Das Kabel selber funktioniert einwandfrei - wie lange es hält? Schaunmamal...

Comprei para usar com a minha pedaleira Yamaha em conjunto com o meu rack de efeitos para guitarra TC ELECTRONIC G-MAJOR 2.
O cabo funciona perfeitamente e pelo baixo preço podemos considerar que é bom.
Justificando a nota total de 3 estrelas e de acabamento 2 estrelas, levei em consideração que o produto não é um TOP DE LINHA e sim um produto barato e simples em acabamento e construção.
