the box Pyrit 112 Sub A

I bought this having already found and bought the twin speaker version from someone second hand, and I was so impressed with the twin version I didn't even hesitate in ordering one of these for my smaller shows and gigs I have upstairs.
First outing with it I was playing to around a 100 guests in a room that would easily hold 150/200, I was not sure how I would get on but WOW this little box is heads and shoulders above all other 12" single cabs I have used in the past including (DB Tech, EV, Alto) since that first gig I have used this many times and found it to be really good far better that its size would lead you to think.
Now it is loud, and is amazing but its is only a 12" speaker so do not expect a huge wall of sound to hit you but it is way way better than all the more expensive units I have tested in the past, and so light to boot I am a big guy but can just about manage this as a one handed lift, the handle though are well placed for a nice easy carry to the upper floors of a venue.
I plan to buy a second unit when they return in stock giving me the best of all worlds as I have said I already own the twin ver so stacking two singles will give me a large balanced rig when the needs arises to wake the dead.
in short would I recommend this YES!
EDIT Sept 2015 I now have two of these and a dual unit so happy great unit used 2/3 times a week all fine so far thanks Thomann :-)

The height, width and depth are in the wrong order. As you look at the front of the speaker the true dimensions are Height- 400mm, width- 460mm, depth- 520mm. So, the depth is the longest measurement meaning it will stick out into the room more.
Apart from this, absolutely amazing subwoofer. Incredibly powerful, clear sound, and a bargain for what you get. If you need an active subwoofer, definitely get this one!

have tried previously branded subs , very expensive and had never been happier until i bought the box Pyrit 112sub A. indeed as a mobile dj, these subs has brought so much joy in my gigs. very punchy, deep bass and easy to carry with lesser weight as compare to others. I initially bought two and i was pleased with the performance so i bought another two to make it four. this is fantastic. right now im looking to buy the same brand tops to match. i will recommend to all djs because its very powerful and reasonable price to compare.

I have to say this is by far the best subwoofer I've ever come across for a number of reason. I've used a lot of expensive, big brand subs & speakers in the past and nothing quite compares to this. 12" subwoofer with a build in amp for this price?! The sound is superb, I can't even get it to clip even at high volumes. I've purchased a second one and I'm using them with 2 10" tops, I've had a number of venue owners commenting on the quality! Absolutely amazing, highly recommended
