Noisy pre-amp

This is my first Sadowsky designed bass and I like the refined Jazz Bass style. It is light and comfortable to play.
Pros: Design and great Sadowsky sound
Cons: It feels like a cheap Chinese knockoff. The active preamp is very noisy. The workmanship does not come close to a bass like Sire that cost considerably less

Awesome sound and features for the money

Needed an affordable back up bass for gigs , new about the QC issues on older RSDs but took a chance.....
So glad I did the Sadowsky active sound is just awesome, hardware is serious quality. Took this to rehearsal with my 90's rock cover band ,they loved the tone and presence I was able to get out of it. Neck , fret work are OK, but this is where you will notice you are on a budget but this is so much bang for your buck !
