When our second band guitarist arrived with a Jubilee Halfstack (50Watt), I was admittedly quite envious. The sound and the precise response had fascinated me and impressed me to this day.
When the reissue was thrown into the market, I could not resist it. And it was worth it!
I mainly play Hardrock / Metal from the 80s and 90s and with the amp it just fits. I run it on a 1960 with G12T-75, had considered to upgrade the box to V30-Speaker or to buy me the appropriate Jubilee box. But that is not necessary. The lead channel expresses a typical Marshall-Dirty sound. Starting from about 6 in the master (leadmaster to 6.5, gain 10) the amp comes already in the low mode very pressurefully and open over. A switch to Highpower makes the sound full to the 12! Mighty basses (although only slightly over half), pressureful mids with the G12T and the nice Marshall scratching. From Master 8 not only flops, but the floor scream! Enormous!
Clean makes it a very good figure for my taste. Sure, is not a superclean sound, but still dyed with a small dose of tube saturation. But that's exactly what I want, that I like and makes the guitar not so sterile.
The amp is also very easy to insert into an effect device and offers possibilities for further sound manipulation.
The amp unfolds a wide range of clean, tweaked, dirty to heavygain. The EQ is very precise and cleanly tuned. One quickly finds his wish sound.
I play the amp with Ibanez JEM guitars and the degree of drift is sufficient. For the Steve Vai brand, there might be a bit more gain, but that was not the intention with the amp. If you want more gain, this can be done via an external overdrive or similar. And even then the amp simply sounds great!
I am fully satisfied with the amp!
Very good, I also find the easy adjustment of the bias during the tube change, without having to open the amp. Top!

Delivery from Thomann top and fast, as you know it. Only actually would have still a pack of earthen cork as a small gift to be there ... ;-)

Small supplement (22.11.15):
Have the amp s.einen 4x12 box with Celestion V30 connected and must my opinion regarding the G12T-75 back. Be sure to play with V30 !!! The sound is even more harmonious, scratching, more aggressive - in the pleasant sense. The G12T is equipped with the Amp Spikes in the high frequencies, which can even hurt at high volume. The V30 are quite dominant in the upper mids, fit to the 2555X but like butt on bucket. So either take the appropriate silver box or equip your own box with V30!
