I use this in latin music and also for dance music as a substitute for my cowbell.
It is well built and I trust it will last for a long time.

Der grüne und tiefere Blast Block von Latin Percussion klingt eine Quinte tiefer als sein gelbes gegenstück ist von der Form her gleich, nur etwas größer gestaltet. Im Vergleich zu den bisher eher populären Cowbells klingt der Blast Block etwas trockener und hat weniger Sustain. An die Lautstärke von Cowbells kommt er jedoch nicht heran. Wer also eine etwas preiswertere Alternative zu einer Cowbell sucht, liegt mit diesem Produkt leider flasch. Der Blast Block ist eher für kleine Akzente geeignet. Die Verarbeitung ist top. Der Block wird hinten mit zwei Schrauben gehalten welche mit zwei Gummiunterlegscheiben bestückt sind. Dadurch gibt der Block beim Schlag gut nach. Für den Preis ist es eine doch sicherlich lohnenswerte, lustige, kleine Spielerei. Aber ein Cowbellersatz ist es auf keinen Fall. Nachteil ist das sehr teure Haltesystem von Latin Percussion welche sogar mehr kostet als das Instrument selber.
