Ich habe die Gotoh String Ferrules für meinen 73er Mustang Bass bestellt, weil sie da gefehlt haben. Da hat der Vorbesitzer wohl beim Saitenwechseln nicht aufgepasst und die Dinger verloren.
Von Fender gibt es nur etwas größere Hülsen, die für Precis oder eventuell für Mustang Bässe aus den Sechzigern passen. Für meinen Siebziger-Jahre-Mustang passen die Gotoh-Hülsen haargenau. Sie ließen sich leicht in die vorgesehenen Bohrungen stecken, halten aber so gut, dass sie beim Saitenwechsel nicht einfach wieder rausfallen.
Die Größe müsste auch für Fender MIJ sowie Squier Mustang Bässe passen.

Fender Pawn Shop und Fender JMJ Mustang Bass sowie die Squier Vista Musicmasters aus den 90ern erfordern die größeren Hülsen – die gibt es von Fender.
An der Verarbeitung gibt es nichts auszusetzen. Im Vergleich zu den Fender-Hülsen ist auch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis besser.
