Good looper, great manipulation options

Before the EHX 1440 I had a Boss RC-20 and I didn't liked it. I know that it is a great piece of gear, but I just didn't got used to it. I need a looper that enables me a quick manipulation of the loop, and the EHX 1440 is more akin to my needs, because it allows to quickly shift the pitch of the loop and reverse it. Simply by pushing a button or turn a knob. The option to control the overdubs volume is also great. The sound of the loops could be better, sometimes they loose definition, but I honestly don't mind because of its ease to use!

I’m really happy with the EHX 1440. Initially, I wasn’t even considering it, but I’m glad I came across this option. It offers a wide range of features – the loop fade-out and speed control are especially creative tools that inspire experimentation. The controls are intuitive and easy to use. With the EHX software, you can export your recorded loops or load a backing track onto the pedal, which is super convenient.

The only downside for me is the outdated USB port. But overall, I highly recommend it.
