Great look, awesome feel, very comfortable to play. This guitar has fantastic features with a well shaped cutaway (14 fret clear of the body), a 48mm nut and a built in fishman pick up and tuner system. The tone of the guitar is excellent but I believe that the Cordoba Fusion 12 does offer a slightly better acoustic/unplugged tone. I wanted a guitar that offered playability in the high fret range so this instrument ticked all the boxes for me.

Obviously best played finger style and gives lovely warm crisp tones in the highs and mids and deep resonating bass notes. Works very well as a folk or classical guitar and can also pass off flamenco style pretty nicely but it is not so hot when strummed with a pick. However, I doubt you will be looking at this guitar if that is how you like to play.

The guitar arrived ready to play and barely even needed tuning although, I wanted to test the tuner. Comes with an excellent quality Cordoba gig bag. This guitar offers a lot for a very good price. I would highly recommend this guitar to anyone who wants to get a versatile finger played instrument.

For me perfect
Det Sch, 03.02.2017
I've been using a Lowden Western guitar for 30 years, but have been practicing on a concert guitar (Yamaha C40, probably the best thing you can get for very little money) because of high humidity in my home and aching fingers because of the steel strings I also play increasingly classical pieces. The difference between the handleboards when changing is however very large, so I wanted a crossover guitar.

I am concerned with the Yamaha NTX models, the Takamine P3FCN, the Cordoba C10 and the Cordoba Fusion 14 (Taylor is too expensive for me). The electric consumers do not play such a big role for me, so the Cordoba C10 was actually my first choice for the sound and the wood used; But the approach on the 14th Bund and the Cutaway were more important than the sound, because if I need a fantastic sound, I take the Lowden. The Yamaha models sound good, but I'm a bit too bassy (and the strings are narrower, you can fix, but I do not want to go straight to the guitar builder), the Takamine, which would sound best from the 14 guys I still have to wait a month, so it is the Cordoba Fusion 14 Maple (the mE is also the "prettiest" is and i.Ggs to the Takamine a rounded fingerboard and a neck pin offers).

After an afternoon of fighting: I am thrilled.
The guitar is very easy to play because of the low strings, the 6th string tends to clash when the strings are hard, but this can be adjusted by using a built-in steel pin or by a higher bone plate) , Go almost by itself (vaulted fingerboard?), The fingerboard width of 48mm is ideal for me; Wide enough to play tremolo on the B- or G-string (which I had imagined a lot worse) without a major change (from the classical) tremolo, and narrow enough to get the deep E-string with the thumb To be able to. The cadence (64cm), shorter in the C40, is an additional benefit with very wide handles.

The sound (very pure in the treble and somewhat metallic in the bass, very close to what you can hear on Youtube in the test of acoustic guitar) I find personally good, but that is taste, the (very light) instrument sounds After flamenco guitar (is also quite noisy), but that may also be due to the Savarez strings (according to the Cordoba website, it is High-Tension Carbon).

The workmanship is very good, the varnish is thin and without any flaws applied, immaculate. The mechanics do what they are supposed to do, the included bag is well padded, but I ordered a suitcase.
All in all, exactly as I had imagined (from the playability even much better), am super satisfied (and the transmitter goes here to the end of the world also worked well).
