Der Best Brass Dämpfer 54g ist im Verhältnis zum Jo-Ral 88g leichter. Die Wandstärke mit 0,6mm beeinflußt das Schwingungsverhalten deutlich. Tiefe Töne werden durch den "Eigensound" des Dämpfers entsprechend mehr beeinflußt - der Dämpfer hat einen "eigenen" Charakter. In Verbindung mit dem Warm-Up Nano Mute ergibt sich eine zusätzliche Soundvariation die, nicht nur für Übungszwecke, gut klingt.

Ho suonato con diverse sordine; Denis Wick e Harmon principalmente, togliendo lo stelo centrale. Sono buone, ma per me non
paragonabili alla Best Brass Cool Jazz in alluminio che ho acquistato. Il suono è molto meglio intonato rispetto alle altre wow wow
mute. Oltre ad essere leggerissima e in alluminio satinato, l'attacco alla tromba è con gomma e non con sughero: quindi molto saldo
(una caratteristica assolutamente da non sottovalutare).

No se integra bien para trabajo de BigBand. Perfecta para combo.
