Very good MIDI to CV solution

I have this module for over 2 years now. I use it a lot to bridge the gap between DAW and eurorack. Works great. Only complain is that some outputs (especially those that are on top which are closer to its power) are not very accurate for 1v/oct use. My measurements showed that it is 4 to 5 cents off and in some cases even more which is not acceptable for me. I had to calibrate with a high precision voltmeter and yet results weren't satisfactory considering its price which is quite steep in my opinion. I contacted the manufacturer and his response was that " 4 to 5 cents is not that bad"

Other than that is very responsive, no latency and full of features.
Also very useful, the different setups that can be changed with the red buttons

Extrem flexibles Modul zum Steuern des ganzen Systems

Ich habe das Modul hauptsächlich zum Steuern meine Eurorack-Systems im Studio gekauft. Die, über den Editor (PC/Mac), flexible Belegung der Ausgänge macht es mir sehr leicht meinen Synth problemlos in mein DAW-basiertes Setup zu integrieren. Man sollte sich die Belegung der Ausgänge aber auf einem Blatt Papier notieren, da das Modul selber hierüber keine Auskunft gibt (einziger negativer Punkt der mir zu diesem Modul einfällt). Alternativ lässt man den Browser, in dem der Editor läuft, geöffnet, um dort die aktuelle Belegung nachlesen zu können. Zum Editieren ist ein funktionierender Internetzugang erforderlich. Im späteren Betrieb bleiben die Presets dann auch ohne Rechner gespeichert.
Des Weiteren konnte ich beim Ansteuern (DAW/Logic) und gleichzeitigem Aufnehmen (DAW/Logic) keinerlei Latenz feststellen.
Die Dokumentation auf der Webseite von Endorphin.es ist sehr gut und auch eine potentiell komplizierte Aktion, wie das Firmware-Update, war einfach zu bewältigen.
Ich bin vollauf zufrieden!

Molto comodo e performante. Io lo uso attraverso il software max msp e devo dire che risponde bene fino a che non lo si stressa troppo. Dico questo per il fatto che bisogna tener conto che utilizza il sistema midi, il quale ha delle limitazioni riguardante il mole di dati di trasferimento. Se mandate molti controlli continui (parlo dei cc) può capitare che ci siano dei ritardi o che smetta di inviare dati. comunque potete stare tranquilli perchè il produttore ha dato molte possibilità per evitare questi problemi. Devo anche dire che se si usano i cc come controlli semplici allora non si rischieranno ritardi e altri problemi. Se volete inviare inviluppi o segnali continui tramite max (il che vuol dire che manda molti dati) allora vi conviene rivolgervi ad un convertitore dac come le schede motu o moduli expert sleepers.

Funziona perfettamente ed è adattabile ad ogni esigenza, è possibile attraverso lo script online personalizzare ogni funzione ed assegnare ad ogni uscita jack la funzione preferita.
Ottima anche la possibilità di utilizzare il modulo come alimentazione e davvero ne sono soddisfatto.
accattatevill' perché funziona bene, i ragazzi di Endorphin.es sono oltretutto molto disponibili per qualsiasi problema, e quindi sopportiamo questa mitica impresa.
