Should I have returned it straight away? Yes, but I really couldn't be bothered. On a positive note, the build quality is high, and the clip works really well.

I've had a few different tuners but this is the best so far. Very easy to see even with my 53 yo eyesight. Good battery life. Clips on easy and stays there. Only down side is the small power button on the rear, could be bigger or more tactile.
