Superb First 12-Hole Ocarina

This is an excellent first ocarina. Lightweight, sturdy, with a clear sound, this is a great teaching ocarina, especially for children.

The ocarina comes with a lanyard, just the thing to allow a child to carry it with them. Adult beginners, too, can learn quickly how to play the instrument.

I highly recommend this ocarina for anybody who wishes to begin to learn this instrument. And even a seasoned musician can use this starter ocarina to produce melodious tones.

Bin angenehm überrascht, das kleine Ding spielt sich intuitiv - und nach dem ersten Schreck wie klein es ist, habe ich rasch die richtige Haltung gefunden (meine erste Ocarina 12 Loch).
Sie klingt gut.
Die beiliegende Anleitung mit der Grifftabelle, einigen Übungen und kleinen Liedchen ist sehr hilfreich.
Die schöne, rote Farbe ist freilich ein Plus, meine verschmutzt übrigens auch nicht, sie ist ganz schick und ohne Kratzer.
Das Material ist freilich nicht saugfähig, gut, das habe ich bei anderen Blasinstrumenten auch, aber da fließt nix irgendwo heraus
(- vielleicht beim Spiel in niedriger Umgebungstemperatur?)
Bin rundherum zufrieden, ein wirklich nützlich spaßiges Ding mit doch beachtlich gutem Klang zu so einem günstigen Preis. :-)

Diese Okarina ist ok und sehr gut für Anfänger und Wiedereinsteiger geeignet.

POSITIVES: Diese Okarina hat eine schöne, rote Farbe und
ist einfach unzerbrechlich. Das Notenheft ist eine tolle Hilfe und der Klang ist weich, und klar.

NEGATIVES: Diese Okarina hat eine schlechte Verarbeitung: Beim Längerem Spielen fließt die Spucke aus dem Tonloch raus. Das Mundstück ist nach häufigem Spielen so verschmutzt, das man es selbst bei gutem und gründlichem Putzen nicht ganz sauber kriegt.
Diese Okarina hatte schon, als ich sie bekommen habe, sehr viele Kratzer und Macken.

Deshalb ist diese Okarina für Anfänger geeignet.

I must start out with saying I am not an Ocarina player or expert so I will just write what I as a novice thought about this product.

It doesn't cost all that much and it comes in a box with beginners instructions book, so very well packeged.

Feels alright to play, not as easy as a wooden or clay though.

Sound, it does make sound but again one made of clay sounds darker and more mellow.
I'm not entirely satisfied with how it sounds but I can't complain to much since you get what you pay for, and in this case you get rather alot.

There is always a use for pipes and such so I don't feel this as a wasted buy at all, but I will keep my eye out for a clay one from now on.
