Being made out of wood, it looks good against my wooden soprano recorder. My only complaint is the supplied strips of tape don't do a good job sticking the thumb rest to the instrument. I used a thicker double-sided tape instead (made for posters) and this did the trick nicely. The same thing applies for thumb rest 6214 for tenor recorder.
I haven't used it for long, so I cannot really say how good the adhesive is, or even whether I like using a thumbrest. But this little piece of wood is nicely made, easy to attach, and comes with two spare adhesive strips for whatever reason. It would be nice if they came in a variety of woods or colours, but that's just fussy aesthetics on my part.
Nicely finished, and includes two double sided adhesive pads. Personally, I shall be dispensing of these and fixing the thumbrest permanently with pva, once I've settled on the best position. I should add, I've fitted it to a descant, and it fits fine.
