First off, the guys at Thomann gave me a lot of telephone help in choosing the right rack case, well done there, guys! Being a 3-high there is room to leave the amp's rubber feet mounted. This provides extra stability for the amp and takes some of the load off the brackets. (Search for "rack ears", Thomann has them). It also provides for extra air flow above and below the amp - never a bad thing, and of course room for a couple of cables. A 2HE case would have worked, but, well, see above. It's tough as tortoises and carries nicely too. Course you could put the amp in without feet and then squash in a 1-high rack tuner or whatnot above it. Plenty of mounting screws provided for all that. All in all a dandy bit of gear.
