Robust cable but required a modification to work with my MacBook Pro
Robust cable that feels like it's of a very decent quality.
The only problem I had is that when plugging in to my MacBook pro the connector wouldn't insert far enough so that macOS wouldn't detect it and activate the optical digital output. So I had to cut off a small part of the sleeve so that the plug would insert further. Once I did this, the optical digital output activated immediately, and audio started sounding via my Denon RCD-M41.
Since then I've been using this daily without a problem, so it definitely works like it should.
