I've found this kit playing in a club and I was impressed by the sound and how friendly it is the whole Yamaha system. I felt immediately comfortable with it in all senses.
When I searched for it I couldn't believe the price, very good quality-price.
It is especially good for jazz, the tone you can get from the toms and bass drum is so warm and authentic. But also I found it good for funk, latin and soul.

Das Bop Kit wird in einem übersichtlichen Karton geliefert. Das 12er Tom ist bereits fertig montiert, Bassdrum und Standtom müssen noch zusammengebaut werden. Kurz durchgestimmt und fertig. Soundmäßig überzeugt mich das Set komplett. Die Toms singen wie sie es sollen und die Bassdrum legt ein sehr gut kontrollierbares Fundament drunter. Die Hardware macht auch einen guten Eindruck.
Ich benutze das Set für Jazz und da passt es wunderbar. Ich kann es mit aber auch in anderen Bereichen gut vorstellen. Natürlich gibt es hier und da kleine Einsparungen (z.B. Bassdrumreifen innen nicht lackiert) aber für den Preis geht das in Ordnung
