You only need 3 things from a simple drum key - a good fit on the tension rods, robust enough that it doesn't scar or damage itself or the tension rods, and is affordable but not so cheap that it has sharp edges or anything. This does all of those things. No need to spend more if you just need a simple key. It's cheap enough for you not to get upset if you lose one. Buy a few and never need to buy keys again. Who knows, perhaps if you buy enough they'll cook your eggs in the morning!
