This is the single most piece of kit which has saved me time and effort in abundance. Prior to buying this I had mics positioned all over the place, then had to mix down the audio then edit it then sync it with the video etc.... All of that work was taking me hours. Now with this camera mic the audio quality is so good that it's taken away the need to do all the other work. This has freed up so much of my time that my productivity has trebled. It's a must have for anyone making video, from amateur to seasoned professional

Good but you need to master removing the battery cover!

Great microphone for my DSLR camera. It comes with a battery once you purchase it, and all the other things in the package. I like the high pass nad low pass filter. The sound is great both indoor and outdoor. The only thing that I don't like is how you remove the cover and how to put back the cover when you need to replace the battery. It's not practical. My first time, I spent 30 minutes learning and doing it not because I am a slow learner but because I needed to make sure that I didn't break the microphone. The battery compartment is located underneath the microphone. This is great if you're ok with the cons but if not you can choose the better and expensive stuff like wireless mics.

Great for your camera! I use it for YouTube. No Issues. Sounds much much better than the inbuilt mic. Very Profetional!
