Windshield so small it's almost adorable

A basic product to use with Rode SmartLav. Does the job of protecting your recording from wind noises. The pack contains 3 pieces so they will last you a long time or until you lose them.

Just keep in mind that compared to the included foam screen the SmartLav comes with, this one is a lot bigger. So don't even think of concealing this behind clothes, it's supposed to be outside in the wind.

Simple packaging: 3 windshields in a clear plastic pouch with tag.

The only solution against heavy wind

I used them when I was doing stealth stereo recordings with a pair of lavaliers carefully placed on the sides of my backpack. I admit that these fluffy things will make me look a bit less masculine, and sometimes they made people aware that I was recording, but in the end, they are black and not so obtrusive and they are the only solution when you need to use a lav microphone with heavy wind. They will eat up some high frequencies, but they pair well with lavs which are already boosted in that area.

The Rode Minifur Lav accessory is really helpful. If you are taking your lavalier mircrophone outside to record a person you would definitely want to use the minifur lav accessory. This will help reduce the wind and unwanted windblow effects from the person speaking. The product is produced with nice materials and looks good. Although a little bit too big in my opinion but that probably helps it work better and remove as much wind/air from the audio as possible. So not much to say about it I guess except that it does it's job as it should, looks good in black, produced with good materials and of course the price is great! A must have for your outdoor recording needs.

Definitely recommend it!
