Classic (but also versatile) sound from a classic head

The remos pinstripe has been in my life for as long as I can remember. It gets a decent sound out of entry level beginner drums, and a good sound out of good drums. But something that not everyone will know is that it gets an unbelievably good sound out of quads or multi-tenors (for marching bands / drum corps). The tonal clarity and projection you get is second to none. Obviously it's better to use the dedicated marching version with the crimplock hoop, but it's essentially the same head, just a little stronger at the point of attachment. If you haven't heard pinstripes crannked up to high tension, then you haven't heard them at their very best. But even at normal tensions they are a solid, reliable drumhead.

I can't remember did I buy these for myself or the drummer of my band, but they did there job for years, with a good sound and all, sure you can't really go wrong with remo skins, can't fault them in Any way

What can I say about the Remo Pinstripe Clear head. I haven't changed my tom heads in too long of a time, but these heads have sounded just right from the start. It's not that there's anything amazingly special about them, it's that they sound nice, and you can't really complain in any way.

Really great sounding head. Makes my pearl exports sound amazing, they produce really nice tone. Very durable, haven't changed the heads in over a year and they still sound great. its amazing how much they can take without breaking. Perfect for playing Rock music. Would highly recommend.
