Not bad item, doesn't fit my HB though

Bought this to fit to my Harley Benton.
The item is of a reasonable quality but not designed to fit on a Harley Benton.
I am starting to realise that this is a range of aftermarket components not based on the same manufacturers range of complete guitars, but they will fit Fender and are nearly identical to squier dimensions.
Would maybe have liked that to be made obvious in the item description as it is a fair assumption to expect an HB part to fit an HB guitar i think.

It feels decent enough and not cheap. On the other hand, what really bummed me out, was the fact that it did NOT match the guitar I bought it for.

I had bought it for a Harley Benton ST-20 and the screw holes did not align.

I also tried to put it on a Harley Benton ST-62 and the screw holes did not align there either.

I threw one into an order so I can have colour matching backplate on a partscaster. Had to drill new screw holes, which I'm of course fine with on that guitar. You may want to check the drawing carefully for fit, though, as not all covers are the same size and hole pattern!

The quality is there and the price makes the Fender equivalent look outrageous . But and it is a big but unfortunately it does not fit my Harley Benton Sunburst ST-20 Strat the screw holes do not line up and size is incorrect , if it was oversized I could adapt to fit but it isn't .I am not sure if the Technical Drawing was up on the web page when I purchased it , if it was I would have checked the dimensions before ordering . So be warned sdon't order unless you checked it fits with the T/ Drawing
