The DiMarzio X2N is an incredibly powerful pickup with a ton of output, maybe even more than you need. Very crunchy, very powerful, this pickup supplies you with all the gain and power in the world for your chugs. Despite being high output, it is quite versatile depending on the position of the neck you're playing on. The clean tones on it leave a lot to be desired, but if you're buying it for the cleans, you're buying it for the wrong reason. Paired with a high gain amp or distortion pedal and a noise gate, this pickup will be sure to impress you.
