For 8", they sound good and full, the bluetooth works really really well, and having the extra input for an extfra instrument or microphone really does make this a small house kareoke party maker, or a speech enhancer, maybe with some background music.
I play guitar with modelers, and am also giging in different formats, so having something that doubles as a monitor is great, even though in the real world, you cant really use it as a monitor, since the cable is on the tilt side (and it touches the floor before the speaker does, (so the cable is under tension))
I found the sound to be good, especially in comparison to the dB technologies B Hype 8, but it still really fails if you feed it a fat kick, or if you try to play bass guitar sounds through it, plus when looping, if really hit a ceiling really quickly and didnt make for a good represenation of the layers in the sound.
it is super lightweight, and it does get loud, i wouldve liked to see a high cut, because the highs are really really too bright sometimes, and a bass cut would also be good, in the situations where its getting hit with too much bass that just makes the woofer flab around..
Good for what it is, manage your expectations.
