If you are *really* on a budget, then this may be for you

In theory, I like these little mini-stomp things. I have a handful of Donner and Mooer devices which I really like.

I got this to experiment with different phasers and flangers to better understand what I might want and need. Hoping that, maybe, I'd end up with a versatile little pedal that might find a permanent place on my pedalboard.

I didn't like it. All the labels are cryptic abbreviations. I have no idea what P.fig or N.fig might mean. I was hoping that the manual (haha, as if there was such a thing) might explain that. The 3 little pots are super annoying to use (my fingers are too big to really grab the middle one). And what they do changes subtly between setting.

I would probably need to study this thing for several hours.

I'd rather invest my time and money into something else.

So I'm using the Thomann Refund option for the first time, because well, I'm just not happy with the purchase.

**If** you are really on a budget, then this might be a good option for you. Otherwise, I'd recommend beginners to chose something more 'classic' like the small stone. If you're not a beginner, you are probably aware of the plethora of much nicer pedals out there.

Disappointing

To get back into playing, I bought a Harley Benton TE52 about a year ago. I loved the guitar so much that since then I have bought two more HB guitars. So when I learned of the new Harley Benton MiniStomp series, I decided to give them a go and ordered this modulation pedal along with three different overdrive pedals.

Unfortunately, the pedals were all disappointing. For the modulation pedal: (1) there is nothing in the documentation on what each effect is supposed to be; (2) the functions of the turning knobs seem inconsistent between settings and are extremely sensitive, such that at one point you achieve an interesting effect, whereas the slightest change makes the effects ridiculous; (3) the knobs do not have an indicator stripe, which makes it impossible to see the setting except in bright light, close up; (4) the pedal adds an unacceptable amount of noise to the signal; and finally, (5) the build quality is rather poor: two of the pedals I received had issues. On this one, the LED didn't work.

I had expected much more from HB!

viele soundeinstellunfen möglich! in meinen ohren klingt dieser hot mod sehr gut.
ich habe auch einen mini stomp spinner (phaser, vibe und chorus) bestellt und die sounds verglichen. der hot mod klingt „funkig und direkt“, während der spinner „weicher“ im klang einzustellen ist.
der hot mod birtet mehr sounds… beide geräte ergänzen sich.
hot passt hier gut als name.

super verarbeitet, die glänzenden metallksnten gewinnen verglichen mit m***r geräten, die im selben format und größe daherkommen.
die coolere verpackung bietet harley benton und dieser preis… :))

Tekst is heel slecht leesbaar waardoor ik wel spijt heb van deze aankoop, sound is verder prima en behoorlijk diverse.
