Best mini kit!!
Transport:
This, with the Protection Racket soft cases, is absolutely awesome. The whole kit ends up taking roughly only about 20% more space than my Yamaha bass drum with its hard case on its own!! You can basically carry the whole kit at once on your own, and even have room in one of the soft cases for your snare. Mine is the biggest it could fit, and sits at 14" x 5".
Sound:
Both the toms and kick just sound absolutely massive. What I heard and loved on video was absolutely real. It's as punchy and focused as you'd hope. I don't like the sound of the snare, but I'm extremely fussy in that department.
Looks:
Just stunning.
Other:
The rubber protection for the bass drum was too big for my bass drum pedal to clamp fully, so at first, my bass drum bat did not hit the head properly. When I noticed it, I simply removed the rubber protection (it's not glued or anything. It just comes off very easily.) and put some non-marking tape instead, and now it works absolutely perfect and sounds 100 times better.
If you love the sound you heard on video and you need a portable kit, this is the one!
