Behringer 369-KT

Hallo,

das Gerät, das den angeblichen Neve sound erzeugen kann, ist nicht das einzige auf dem Markt, das diese Fähigkeit von sich behauptet. Es gibt Kritiker und Tester, die unzufrieden sein möchten und das Behringer-Gerät aufgrund seines niedrigen Preises oder allein weil es von Behringer ist schon von vornherein als minderwertig betrachten. Doch ich gehöre nicht dazu. Ich gehöre zu den Leuten, die einfach damit Musik machen möchten – genau dafür ist es auch gebaut.

Deshalb habe ich mir das preiswerte Gerät gekauft, um meinem Tonstudio, das nicht professionell ist, einen professionellen Klang zu verleihen. Mit VST-Plugins kommt man auch sehr weit, und ein niedriger Preis bedeutet nicht, dass es kein Geld wert ist und auch nicht übel sein muss. Für das Geld bekommt man im VST-Bereich ein gigantisches Plugin-Bündel, das nicht nur einen Kompressor bietet, sondern eine ganze Suite an Effekten und Tools.

Trotzdem habe ich das Geld in ein meiner Meinung nach unnötig umstrittenes Gerät investiert. Nachdem ich es angeschlossen habe, frage ich mich, warum es überhaupt umstritten sein soll. Es ist einfach nur genial. Mehr schreibe ich dazu nicht. Einfach selber kaufen, selbst ausprobieren und sich endlich mal freuen dürfen sowas selbst besitzen zu dürfen!

Wow, what an excellent Compressor for that low amount of Money.

First of all I don’t care if it sounds like the original or not as it is not the original.
I do care if it behaves in a similar way and does the job it was built for.

And Hell yeah it does.
I tested it on Mixbus, Instrument Busses and individual tracks and it sounds absolutely georgeous. It can deliver everything from subtle „glue“ compression to very heavy crushed compression by stacking the limiter with the comp section.
It sound better than all plugins I use for similar operations.
I think the Behringer 369-KT will replace my SSl Bus-Comp on the Drumbus for future Productions.
It is a fairly clean compressor but it gives a little Color and saturation to the signal.
On Mixbus it might be missing a bit space and clarity and depth in comparison to other comps designed for Mixbus operations. (E.g. SSL BusComp. Wich are also way more expensive)

The only downside to me so far are the potentiometers as they are really hard to turn. Also they don’t feel good.
Another downside is the manual as it is overall useless.
A calibration guide would be great and hopefully Behringer will provide us with that in the near future.

Overall I would buy it again and might also get a second or third unit as it is the most versatile stereo comp/limiter for a budget wich actually sounds like it would be in the range of around 1000€ to 2000€ compressors.

ok, I dont have the original vintage Neve to compare with but I've worked many times in studios filled with the original hardware. I remember one thing an eingeneer in Ann Harbor told me: just pass the track through the 33609 with no just little limiting and compression and it will sound different, better". He was right, and the Beheringer 369 does it all. built like a 4K$ hardware, knobs are tight and precise, vu-meters are military quality. the sound is so sweet even on hard compression, so natural and so far from the VST (I have the UA) witch is good on soft compression but not on hard. I'm so happy I can reccomend to everyone, even professional studios. I wish I could by 8 of them. (probably I will... :) Thank you Behringer, you made my dream come true and thank you thomann because I was one of the first to receive it!!! I'm happy. more than that <3

I have it for four days now and really love this one already.
Used it on the drum-bus and smacks it really tasteful on there.
Did seven mixes with it on the mix-bus and for the rock genre songs I tried it out on it works marveously well. It sounds awesome to me, highly recommended for 'that' sound. Freaking great job Behringer !

Three stars for the control because the threshold pots are really a problem, they turn way too tight. I'll be careful with those and hope they last, Behringer definitely needs to solve those but other then that the sound is amazing and that's what counts to me.

If you're hesitating to buy one I would say just get it if you want a 33609 style compressor, this does the job really really well !

I pre-ordered the 1273 as well, I mainly decided it on the transformers which sound really good to my ears.
