Da tempo cercavo un compressore con un giusto compromesso tra features e prezzo, questo prodotto grazie alla funzione toneprint e tone editor va ben oltre qualsiasi altro suo rivale grazie alla qualità costruttiva, alle funzioni, alla qualità del suono e per finire grazie al sue prezzo, per 120 euro ti offrono un bel compressore multibanda con un editor controllabile da Pc tramite usb, questo ti permette di assegnare tutti i controlli di compressione che vuoi alla manopola che desideri, l'editor ti lascia controllare davvero tutto della vostra compressione, credetemi sulla parola.
Di negativo posso solo dire che l'editor è leggermente' complicato, con un po' di pratica e conoscenza di compressione vi verrà naturalissimo settarlo, inoltre io lo uso con un basso elettrico e purtroppo fino ad ora hanno solo sviluppato toneprint di artisti famosi esclusivamente chitarristi, mentre non dimentichiamo che l'hanno costruito anche per basso.

Il prezzo è davvero accattivante e la TC Electronic un marchio di cui mi fido. Non avevo avuto modo di provarlo ed è stato un acquisto un pò alla cieca ma sono decisamente soddisfatto. Lo utilizzo prevalentemente insieme ad una martin acustica e un preamp fishman. Devo dire che grazie al blend che permette di miscelare il suono originale con quello compresso riesco ad ottenere quel giusto mix per evitare di avere feedback o rumori di fondo (basta non esagerare di sustain). Il toneprint è un'idea veramente geniale anche se ammetto di non aver ancora avuto tempo di mettermi a realizzare un suono mio (sembra un lavoro lunghissimo) e quelli che ho scaricato non mi hanno del tutto soddisfatto. la modalità spectra per ora è quella che utilizzo di più anche se anche la vintage, soprattutto con elettrica, rende davvero bene. Lo consiglio soprattutto se avete un pò di tempo da perderci dietro per trovare le vostre regolazioni. A livello di costruzione e solidità è una roccia.
