I owned two Charvel Superstrats with Floyds before this one, extremly different neck profiles. The first two were like normal Fender C shape and this one is like Ibanez Wizard neck profile which I don't like
Extremely good pickup combination and sound and 5 way superswitch for different sounds.
The body paint chipped on the first hour of playing on spots that are not on "playware" areas.
Really good neck joint, extremely good fret finishing, very bad nut filing.
Came totally covered in dust.
After a couple of days, the 5 way switch started acting up, the whole electronics are now messed up, I will be sending this guitar back and demand full refund.

Sehr gut mit kleinen Mängeln

Mein Exemplar dieser Gitarre ist grundsätzlich sehr gut gebaut, es ist angenehm leicht, fühlt sich gut und wertig an, lässt sich sehr angenehm bespielen, die Pickups sind wie erhofft druckvoll, und dadurch, dass man sie anhand des 5-Wege-Schalters splitten kann, ist die Gitarre tatsächlich vielfältig einsetzbar.

Leider sind die Bundstäbchen meines Exemplars etwas scharfkantig, an ein paar Stellen (hauptsächlich Headstock und Bridge) sitzt hartnäckigerer, krümeliger Staub, und ein Pickup wurde etwas schief eingebaut.
Diese Dinge sind nicht dramatisch, aber bei einer Gitarre für knapp 900€ haben sie mich etwas irritiert. Besonders die scharfen Bundstäbchen ärgern mich etwas, da ich schon einige deutlich günstigere neue Gitarren in der Hand hatte, bei denen das nicht so war.

Great all around guitar

Great guitar, no gimmicks, simple hard tail, a thin, nice and pretty light body, feels great, is well built and very well balanced, plays very well, can do it all, from blues to metal (Orange Amp tested). I love the neck which is very thin (similar to Ibanez Wizard necks or ESP super thin U shapes), plays fast and easy. The neck edges are rolled and smooth, it's awesome to play.
The only thing i kinda disliked is the volume knob which is supposed to be nice, fast and smooth but is actually way too quick and loose i reckon... but it's just my own taste. No big deal. I like 'em tighter to avoid having it turning on its own when touching it by mistake.
PS: Guitar was dusty when i got it so it must have been built wayyyy before being sold and has probably stayed at a Fender/Charvel warehouse for a while before being boxed and wrapped.

Fazit vorab: Gute Gitarre die aber leider ihrem Preis nicht gerecht wird.

Eine wirklich tolle Gitarre. Das dünne Halsprofil ist einfach wunderbar und das Matte Finish darauf fühlt sich an als würde man das Holz direkt greifen. Ich liebe es.

Die Bünde sind wunderbar abgerundet und fühlen sich beim Spielen einfach wunderbar an.

Die Tonabnehmer sind in Ordnung. Klingen tatsächlich am besten im Clean und gesplittet. Zumindest wenn man mich fragt. Und sonst so?

Ich möchte ehrlich sein. Es gibt eine sehr sehr ähnliche Gitarre der Hausmarke von Thomann die dieser Gitarre hier in nichts nachsteht. (Habe zwei davon) Ich habe mich tatsächlich in die Bünde und den Hals verliebt. Wer darauf keinen Wert legt kann auch zur HB Gitarre greifen und mit minimalen Aufwand eine sehr ähnliche Gitarre zum Bruchteil des Preises ergattern.
