The versatile cymbals of Zultan's Dark Matter series are manually shaped in Turkish production by the hammers of experienced cymbal smiths. Cast by hand from a high-quality B20 alloy, the cymbals owe their extraordinary appearance to an elaborate surface treatment in which the cymbals are immersed in a special liquid and afterwards polished with added bronze fragments. In addition to the Dark Matter Professional Cymbal Set, many other individual cymbals are available as part of the Dark Matter series.

Universal and explosive

"Dark" not only describes the look, but also the sonic character of this series. The combination of some respectable explosiveness and a good helping of clarity creates a universally applicable sound which, together with the appealing look, underlines the craftsmanship of the cymbal series. As each cymbal is handmade and therefore unique, minimal sound variations among several cymbals of the same type are completely normal. The Dark Matter Professional Set consists of a 14" hi-hat, a 16" and 18" crash, and a 20" ride. In addition, the set comes with a matching cymbal bag.

A set with a surprise

Everything is good with these cymbals.
The ride has a really cool sustain (and the other cymbals too)
The quality versus the price of this kit is really great.
The black finish looks great also.
Plus, you get a 10'' splash with it ;).

I bought these as my first cymbal set (im 14), and they are great and sound awesome. The 20 inch ride is my favourite and the Hi Hats are great too, I love the sets washy sound with great tone. All this, and they also look FANTASTIC! The photos look a bit brown, but in reality they have a great blue finish with brown underneath, they kind of look color case hardened! Great product, I strongly reccomend

Considering the alloy that the cymbals are made of is the same as top sets of all the other brands (B20, except for zildjian that has a secret alloy), and that the price is less than half I'd say this is the best deal you're gonna make.

The cymbals sound amazing, great timbre, projection and sustain, and they look awesome. Plus you get a free 10" splash.
