I've been using other lubricants for my horn. This turned out to be the best one I've tried. I suggest keeping it in the fridge if unused. In high ambient temperature it might loose some of its lubricating efficiency

Only a tiny amount of lube is required to have a fast slide. Spraying with water from a spray bottle containing a couple of drops of Hetman's Hydro-slide makes it even better.
If changing from certain other creams/oils make sure that your slide is super clean before 1st application as any residue may react with the Yamaha product

I would say that this product is the best out there for most trombone slides. Great action and lasts longer than any of the others. Most trombonists I know now use this over any other slide lubricants available.

The best lube ever doesn't exist, it pretty much depends on your slide and also 'taste'. That said, I discover this product recently and I believe it's the perfect solution for a 'quick fix' during a concert or when you don't have the time to use the 'trombotine' (or you are simply lazy)
