The Right Oil is important

I am an engineer. I am also an amateur tuba player.
It is really important to use the right oil for the valve/bearing/linkage of your instrument.
Using the right oil ensures your valves remain quiet and have a long and healthy life.
I bought this oil for the rota bearings of my Mira 283.
Applies easily and seeped into the bearings very quickly.
Good.

Sehr gutes dickeres Drehventil Öl

J. Meinlschmidt JM Öle sind vor allem im Drehventil Bereich m.E. die Besten. Das Nr. 13 Rotor Oil ist etwas dickflüssiger aber nicht zäh. Es benutze es wechselnd mit einem dünneren JM Öl (11/11.5) für meine Ricco Kühn Drehventil Trompeten und Scherzer Piccolo. Ich gebe es immer nur außen/ von oben in die Drehgelenke oberhalb der Büchse. In die Maschine und von unten in die Kappen gebe ich nur die dünneren Öle. Jedoch halten sich diese m.E. nicht ganz so lange in der Maschine bei intensivem Gebrauch, weshalb ich immer etwas Nr. 13 von oben hinzu füge. Für mich die beste Kombination.

cette huile est très bonne , je l'utilise pour ma trompette basse à quatre palettes ou rotors , elle est très fluide et ne fait pas trop de dépôts comme certaines huiles , donc bon produit
